She is a Yoruba Priestess, teacher, artist and writer who partners with community artists, activists and organizations to bridge African/African American culture and historical contributions into transformative
actions and social equitable practices for healing and building sustainable families and communities. "I utilize my life and teaching experiences to educate and engage people in hard conversations about Mothering within intersectionalities of culture, (myth
of) race, class, gender, aging, Inter-Faith Connectivity and Climate Change Preparedness. I use art making (visual and written) for individual expression, building communities, creating allyships and taking action to dismantle barriers for Social Justice for
